Meet Your Therapist.
Jordyn Dooley MS, LMHC, LCPC, ATR
I understand that it is one thing to try, and even be able, to make things look good while at the same not feeling it at all.
I know what it feels like not to have met your soul yet. It took me “trying on” different roles in my life to find my path as a psychotherapist. Along the way, I experienced moments of accomplishment, uncertainty, fulfillment, and feeling completely lost. I explored different careers, relationships, creative pursuits, and personal challenges, often making not feeling okay look okay. At times, I thought I had found exactly where I belonged, only to realize I had discovered just one piece of who I was becoming.
That journey ultimately led me to psychotherapy. Through work in hospitals, community mental health, abuse recovery centers, PTSD programs for veterans, and specialized programs focused on grief, Alzheimer's, and dementia, I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of individualized care. These experiences reinforced my belief that meaningful growth happens when therapy is tailored to the unique person sitting across from me.
Today, my passion is working with couples, young adults, and mature teens as they navigate challenges, explore their dreams and ambitions, and work toward creating lives and relationships that feel authentic and fulfilling. I have found that my strength as a therapist lies in supporting aspirational individuals and couples in developing the tools for self-understanding, emotional processing, communication, personal growth, and deeper connection.
Working with others to discover and access their paths and passions is my purpose. I needed to meet my soul, so I know what it feels like to need and want to meet your soul.
On my path, I continue to be an artist, athlete, a future wife, and a current dog mom. I look forward to meeting you and working together to bring the looking and feeling good together.
